We at Galilee are pleased to provide opportunities for regular nourishment for those engaged in ministry, whether as clergy, chaplains, sisters or lay ministers.  We recognise the challenges faced by so many of us, in diverse ministry settings, and it is part of our mission to support growth and flourishing in ministry.

Ministers are very welcome to arrange one-to-one meetings for pastoral supervision or reflection (usually €40) and these can be conducted in person or via Zoom.

In September we will be starting a new pastoral reflection group online, with monthly Zoom meetings. These meetings will follow the model of our in-person pastoral reflections and will include some prayer, scripture and sharing. Numbers will be limited. If there is demand for more than one group we will consider beginning a second group. The cost will be €25 per meeting.

This group will be led by our Director, Dr Anne Francis. Anne has offered pastoral and theological reflection for many years, with ministers in from Christian traditions both in Ireland and as Director of Pastoral Studies at the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology (Cambridge Theological Federation). She is regularly engaged with national and international leadership groups to conduct pastoral and theological reflection. As well as being a visiting lecturer and supervisor in Pastoral Theology at Margaret Beaufort Institute, she teaches Pastoral Theology at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth.
